I get a lot of questions about attire for photo shoots, so I’ve decided to start a “Look of the Week” post to help provide some inspiration when you are digging through your closets or shopping for that perfect look! Â This first outfit is a great example of something that would give that perfect late summer-early fall cool weather classic look! Â Fall and winter are a great opportunity to introduce bold colors, patterns, and textures… especially as the landscape dries out and dulls out! Â Accessories are also a great way to liven up a typical outfit – use the weather to your advantage! Â Scarves, hats, jackets, and layers will all look fabulous on camera!

September 28, 2009{Friends and family}
September 27, 2009This is my best-friend-of-twenty-two-year’s kids. Â They are both within three months of my middle and youngest children. Â It’s always great having a friend who’s children are the same ages as your own – Â it’s like having built-in playmates every time we want to get together!
{Big Love}
September 27, 2009Here is a quick peek at my first larger family shoot! Â This is one good looking family and their pictures turned out great!

{10 Weeks}
September 26, 2009Well, it’s a busy weekend for Donnell Probst Photography, but taking time out for the babies is one of my favorite things to do! Â Baby “T” is a VERY healthy 15 pounds of rolls and love and new smiles… and at only 10 weeks, it looks like mom and dad are going to have a very squeezable little boy on their hands!

{Miles of Smiles}
September 24, 2009Okay, as a mother, I can only hope that my kids grow up to be as wonderfully nice and respectful to others as well as each other as these two kids! Â They were SO great to work with – this picture is a great preview of things to come!

Thank you! Portfolio-building session & print discounts ENDING SOON!
September 24, 2009Well, the last few months have been wonderfully successful for Donnell Probst Photography and I have established a beautiful portfolio with the help and patience of all of my amazing clients! Â Each session requires approximately 10-15 hours (sometimes more)Â to shoot, edit, post to gallery, order, and package/deliver. Â When the standard costs of doing business are also factored in (insurance, software, equipment, misc. business expenses), you can see how the current $65 session fee is quite discounted! Â I am so incredibly grateful for all of the time, patience, and understanding each of my clients has allowed me during my portfolio-building sessions – each has been it’s own learning experience!
I have a few sessions left for October and the beginning of November at the current session rate. Â Effective November, my session and print prices will be increasing to more effectively cover my cost of doing business. Â The goal of Donnell Probst Photography is to deliver superior quality, custom photography, and personalized service to each and every client. Â Stay tuned for the my new PRICING SCHEDULE to be posted VERY soon!
Thank you again!

{Siblings}
September 21, 2009This was our shoot from Saturday afternoon that was thoroughly rained out about an hour into shooting! Â Luckily the kids were great sports and tolerated a few raindrops while we tried to squeeze in a few final shots! Â Despite the uncooperative weather, the pictures turned out great!

{Happy Birthday}
September 17, 2009You may remember a shoot I did a few weeks back of a very cute little boy (see my website header) and his very pregnant mommy! Â Well, little baby A has finally arrived and WOW, what a beauty! Â Enjoy!

{New Friends}
September 15, 2009There is something just so fun and carefree about kids! Â These three new little friends were full of energy and so curious about the world around them! Â It was an absolute blast to interact with such a fun bunch and I hope to take their pictures for many years to come!

{Little Man}
September 9, 2009My husband’s cousin came to visit us over Labor Day weekend and she brought her son who is quite the little man! Â He is only ten months old, but you would never know it with that full head of man-hair! Â
